What makes a person rich?
Tangible riches are things that have physical form; they are able to be touched or perceived through the sense of touch, while intangible riches lack material qualities and are not able to be touched or seen.
In Stave 3 of A Christmas Carol, the Ghost of Christmas Present reveals many tangible and intangible riches to Scrooge.
Using the list of riches you brainstormed in class, create a collage using one PowerPoint slide.
Open a new PowerPoint presentation.
Click the office button on the top left side.
Choose "save as" and find the place where you want to save your collage (flash drive or teachershare)
Type "ACC collage_name" for the file name.
Under "save as type," use the drop down menu to change from ppt presentation to JPEG. (You have to scroll down.)
Begin the collage by choosing a solid background from the design toolbar.
Add pictures and words that represent the different types of riches using the Insert Toolbar. Use Clip Art and Word Art.
Find a picture of Scrooge and place it so that he is away from the riches. You may use the Internet to find a picture of Scrooge, but you must add a link to the website.
Remember to save several times as you work.
After your collage is completed, open your wiki page and click edit.
Add a divider and type the title "Tangible and Intangible Riches"
